The only way to change the address is to open up a new account.


Go to the MSN Hotmail website.


Click Sign Up.


Choose an account type, and then click the button for that account type.


Fill in the registration form, and then accept the service agreement to continue.


Click Continue to start using your e-mail service.

To help maintain the security of your account, it is a good idea to periodically change your password.

Click Options.


On the left side of the page, click Personal.


Click Password.


Type your current password, and then type your new password twice.


Click Continue, and then click Continue again to go back to your e-mail account.

Never give your password to anyone. No one from MSN Hotmail will ever ask you for your password.


Periodically changing your secret question will also help maintain the security of your account. Click Options., click Personal, and then click Secret Question.

The only way you can do it without having to open a new account is to add an extra address. If you would like to do that here is how to do it.


1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page.


2. Under “Management”, click Mail Addresses.


3. In the “Extra Email Address” section, click Get Started.


4. Either type whatever new address you’d like to try (we’ll tell you if it’s already taken), or use one of our suggestions on the right.


5. Click Choose.


Now your extra address appears in the list of Yahoo! Mail accounts shown on this page. To help prevent spamming, we only allow you to change your extra address twice in one year.





If you have the All New Mail


1. Click the options.


2. On the left had side click the accounts.


3. Go down to extra mail address.


4. Click the get started.

Here is how to change your password.





1. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.


2. Click "My Account" at the top of the page, just below where you see "Welcome, yourname."


3. Enter your password and click "Continue."


4. Click the Change Password link, located near the top of this page.


5. Enter your Current Password in the space provided.


6. Type your New Password.


Note: Passwords are case sensitive (so PASSWORD, PaSsWoRd, and password are not the same).


7. Confirm your New Password by typing it again. A strong password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters.


8. Click the "Save" button to put your new password into effect.


Your Yahoo! password always applies to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it is valid not only for Yahoo! Mail, but also for Yahoo! Messenger, the Yahoo! Music Engine, My Yahoo!, Yahoo! Finance, and all of Yahoo!'s other personalized services
