I'm trying to contact a friend at an old Hotmail address but am unsure if it still exists.?

Is there any way to check the status of his e-mail account? I believe he may have closed it, or is awaiting closure and fear my e-mails are all for not.

Just send an email address and see if it will bounce back.





You can also goto hotmail and try to register that email address, if it is taken, you know someone is using it.

Reply:the only way is to send an email to that account. if it bounces back then the account probably no longer exists
Reply:Try adding them in MSN. If the account is closed, the e-mail should bounce back with a MAIL DAEMON...
