How do u delete a hotmail address?

a guy i know on the net made it 4 me and i don't want it!!

How do u delete a hotmail address?
Microsoft will delete it if not used for 6 months. So, log in to the account first. Change the secret question and answer so the "guy" can't get in. Then change the password and don't tell him. Then don't log in ever again.
Reply:Just don't use it for 6 months and Hotmail will automatically delete it.
Reply:you can;t delete it. just do not sign in for awhile and it will eventually be deleted.
Reply:i dont think you can delete. What you can do is to not go on it at all.
