How do you get a plain email address (@hotmail.com) not an (@hotmail.co.uk or @live.co.uk)???

when I go to www.hotmail.com and click sign up it just offers me a uk one (i'm australian anyway) how do i get just one which is at hotmal.COM?

Reply:Try signing up for like MSN...messenger....get the email account and just don't install the messenger...maybe that will help!?
