Main window is closed for im,how can i get it open,,,also my mail carrier,yahoo,wont send hotmail address,why?

Right click on the item in the task bar and choose restore and get the correct mail settings from your ISP.
Main window is closed for im,how can i get it open,,,also my mail carrier,yahoo,wont send hotmail address,why?
If you can use alt + tab to see if you can scroll through the progams and choose the main window.
