Why wont my email's send from my yahoo email address to hotmail email address'?

Hopefully that made sense. I've just signed up for my yahoo email address and I'm trying to email my friend who has a hotmail email address but it keeps saying it hasnt sent/failed.


I'm trying to send it from my iphone by the way.


Can anyone tell me why it isnt working?

I had this problem and learned that I first had to add my yahoo address to my hotmail account and then it accepted the mail from yahoo.
