i have a hotmail account but i dont like the email i gave it, is there any way to change it without making a new account

Nope, but what you can do is create a new account, then have your e-mail forwarded from the first account to the second in case anyone important sends e-mail to your old account. After everyone knows your new e-mail address you can close the old one.
