If I block for eg all emails from hotmail.com does that include any in my address book?

Or will the filter let through ones that I have in my address book?

i think the filters are overided by your contacts, what ever email address is in your contacts should get through.





why dont you just try, put the filter on, adn get someone who is on your contacts to email you to test it, if they get through leave it, and if they dont, you'll have to remove it and find a diffrent way to contend with all the spammers. lol
