Is HOTMAIL going to get fixed soon and how can I get an e-mail address off there?

I'm e-mailing someone very important about something critical and Hotmail is saying "server is too busy"! What's going on? Can I contact them and at least get my address? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! Now I know to ALWAYS write down important e-mails and I'm so mad! COMPUTERS CAN BE SUCH A PAIN!
