Why can't I email friends who have MSN or Hotmail address?

For the past two weeks the MSN network has been blocking my emails. Every time I email one of my friends,my emails come back with a error 550 policy violation. I email MSN customer support,yet they ignore me. I asked my email provider and they don't know why msn would be blocking me. I can email other people who have yahoo,gmail or any other company email.Yet I can't email those with msn or hotmail. Is this practice illegal?anti-trust or something.I don't see how a company can block communications. I use linux as an OS and sylpheed for my email. never had a problem before. Its just been the past to week. I have also notice that some email don't hit the 550 policy violation,they just comeback to me days(sometimes a week) after I sent it with errors about timing out. I know the email address or valid(im replying to my friens when they emailme) Yes I can reciece emails from msn and hotmail customers. anyone else going throught this?

it's a simple problem to solve. your friends, without knowing it, are blocking you from sending them emails. i had the same thing with someone. she had to check her allowances and allow me to send her any mail. just having you in the address book does not solve the problem. your friends will have to allow email from you, not just have your address in the address book. it may be they have to accept email from yahoo, or something similar.
