Will a hotmail email address work on an iPhone?

Just wondering...
Will a hotmail email address work on an iPhone?
You can access hotmail via the internet as you would in an internet cafe etc.. but not from the Mail button on the menu screen - you need a Gmail, Microsoft Exchange, mobileme, Yahoo or AOL account for that.
Reply:Yes and no. If you are using your hotmail address with the Mail app then no. If you are using it with the web browser and accessing it through the webmail part then yes. I am a computer technician and owner of VeoniX Technologies and we are considering implementing them in our business.
Reply:You will not be able to use the built in Mail application unless you have a premium Hotmail account.





You can access your Windows Live Hotmail account using Safari or the much better solution is to get mBox Mail from Apples App Store.

Reply:It will if you go on the internet to the Hotmail majiggy, and check it on there. I don't think it'll work with the Mail application, though.





I own a Mac with a Mail application, and it doesn't allow you to use a Hotmail address with it. Yahoo works with the App, though.

Reply:yeah. i have the iphone and hotmail. and if it doesn't then you can just go on the internet and go on msn and sign into your hotmail.
Reply:yes because the iphone has wi-fi. meaning it can connect to the internet. so from the internet you can get to hotmail.
