Not necessarily.
Actually it depends on their mail program (not yours).
If they have your address entered into their address book, your mail shouldn't go to their Spam folder.
If they [previously or accidentally] clicked Spam on one of your emails,-----then your mail would be delivered to the Spam folder, until they corrected the mistake.
They have to open the spam folder---open one of your emails---click the "Not Spam" tab.
Is your email less likely to go to someone's spam folder if you use a hotmail or yahoo address?
Unfortunately, if your E-mail has the look of spam it will be redirected to the spam box, no matter what your mail domain is, there is nothing you can do about it. The recipient should have your address in their address book to help their account know it is a "safe" address. Then, they need to go into their spam box and check mark the item they wish to keep. Click on the 'Not spam' button and it will be returned to their in box, also allowing that address to be delivered to the in box from now on. However, they need to go in periodically and check to insure all items are spam.
