Some email addresses will not save in Outlook. Especially a hotmail address.?

How can I fix this without having to rerun my Microsoft office Outlook?
Some email addresses will not save in Outlook. Especially a hotmail address.?
i never have a problem saving email just click on the email, then tools and the select add sender to address book.
